Onto 2025. Will Things Get Better?

Well as the crap show that is 2024 comes to an end it’s always good to look forward to what the next twelve months can possibly bring.

Well firstly, let’s hope I get back to work sooner rather than later. I had a number of interviews and second interviews last year, so there are lots of positives to take from the whole process I’ve been through.

After taking on two half-marathons this year, and a 10k run in February to look forward to, I need to take a look at what other races I want to take on. Getting out for a run has been one of the things I’ve really enjoyed and to complete the two runs in London gave me a sense of accomplishment.

On the family front, Eldestdaught will be progressing in netball to the outside courts with her team. Cue more weekly training and standing around in the cold and wet spring weather. Youngestdaught will continue her netball and gymnastics journey. Hopefully there’ll be a forward roll soon. She can do a backwards one so we don’t know what’s holding her back!

But as the great Meat Loaf once said, the future ain’t what it used to be, so who knows what the hell is going to happen?
