After a few weeks of running around looking at venues and sorting through all available dates at each venue we have finally made our first wedding-related decision and have confirmed a date for the big day

The venue is remaining a secret just for now, but at least we can get started on arranging everything else that will be required for the day. This includes the photographer, florists, decorators, and DJs!

However, before we can actually make those decisions, we still have to come up with a colour scheme. I’m happy to go with claret and blue but apparently I’m not allowed that. One reason is that claret is too close to one of the fiancées sister’s wedding colours and she’ll get the hump if we use it!

Until this is decided I can’t sort out what colours to accessorise my outfit with. Although I think I know what style I’m going to have. Just hope the best man can carry the same look!
