Nearly There Now

So there’s only a couple of days left before we finally move house and today is the last day that we’ll have of semi-normality for a while.

The last few days have been a bit hectic trying to organise services to be switched off, returned or transferred to the new house. What’s the betting that at least one of them gets things wrong?

Tomorrow we have the removal guys coming in to pack all of our stuff up, while I need to get up into the loft to drag everything that we’ve accumulated in our lifetime into one of our rooms to be loaded onto the van come Friday morning.

My internet usage will drop dramatically as well from tomorrow as my PC gets packed away and we won’t be getting broadband installed until the 9th. How will I cope? It’ll be like living in the dark ages.
