Estate Agent. Latin For “Idiot”

Yet another act of incompetence from the estate agents today. We had a lady (remember that, a lady…) come round at the weekend to view our house (a viewer! At last!) and she seemed to like it and said she wanted to bring her son around at some point in the week.

Now normally an estate agent will speak to the viewer and get their opinion to feed back to the seller. 3 days later yesterday) we’re still to hear back from the estate agents so when I spoke to them yesterday I asked for an update from the viewer and I was told that someone was waiting to hear back.

So today when I called them about another matter (we’ve got a viewer coming round tonight!) I asked again and I was told that they had contacted him but were still waiting for him to get back to them but they will chase him again.

Him.

A man.

So either they have difficulty in differentiating between men and women, or that they hadn’t even tried to contact her at all and were feeding me some bullshit line to palm me off. Whatever it was they’re a bunch of idiots and I can’t wait to be done with them!

UPDATE: Yet another one of their viewers failed to turn up again. This is the third time it’s happened and yet again, we’ve taken time off work to be there for them to just not bloody show up!
