Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Now that Ghostbusters has arrived and is currently taking up a lot of my spare time as I try to complete the game on Professional level, it’s time for a new game to take up the ‘most anticipated’ mantle. This time it’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

It took the award for Best In Show at the recent E3 exhibition and for good reason. It looks absolutely fantastic!

The first game was a huge success for the developers Naughty Dog and one of the best games of 2007. A single player game in the style of Tomb Raider it was an adventure game that you take on pirates and (eventually) monsters as you searched for El Dorado.

For this sequel, Naughty Dog have introduced new elements, given Nate a lot of new moves and while not only being a longer game, now has a multiplayer game so you can do battle online against or with friends.

The game is due to be launched in October and is bound to be a bigger hit than the original Uncharted: Drakes Fortune which went under many people’s radars. In fact I picked it up not knowing anything about it.
