Phone Arrives. Still Can’t Use It Though!

After O2 cocked up our original order, The Wife’s correctly-coloured Xperia M turned up today and so it looked like she might finally be able to get rid of her incredibly slow and full up Xperia Ray.

But in the words of Jim Diamond, I should’ve known better, because when I got home and went to swap over her SIM card to get all of her contacts and content transferred over, I discovered that her existing SIM doesn’t fit the new phone!

Cue yet another phone call to O2 customer services team (should probably get them on speed dial!) to find out how to go about fixing this. I was given two options, they could send one out but probably wouldn’t arrive until Friday, or I could pop into an O2 store and pick one up from them directly.

Seeing as how I wanted this whole saga over, I opted for the latter as there is a store 2 minutes from my office and could pop out in my lunch break to get one.

So hopefully The Wife will have a new, working, black mobile phone tomorrow.

Fingers crossed…
