Moving Day & A Good Deal

We relocated into our new high-numbered room after breakfast. No longer will we be kept awake by bad music or woken at 6am by the sea-plane. No longer will we have no sunshine on our deck at 3pm. Our new room is 168, the third from the end of the long row of water bungalows. Being this far up now means we have a nice long walk to the restaurant, so we get to see more of the island each day.

This room has sunshine on the deck all day and appears to get less of a breeze so is very hot! After we unpacked properly, we went out for a snorkel in the waters around our bungalow and saw quite a range of fish of all colours and sizes including angel fish and trigger fish.

This afternoon we baptised our lilos in the lagoon. It probably sounds childish, but they’re great fun! Just floating on the water without a care in the world is very relaxing.

We’ve arranged our spa treatments for the next 10 days as well. The gf is having 5 and I am having 6. I don’t think we were originally intending to have so many but we’re getting 10 hours worth of treatments for only $500. That was just too good to pass up if you ask me! Not sure how we’re going to fit all this in with the diving we’re supposed to be doing but I’m sure it will all work out!

Yesterday we were offered the opportunity to spend a few nights at another hotel owned by the same company, but we’re not sure we want to take them up on it. To see another island would be nice, but we’ve spent so long looking into this one, I don’t think we should move.
