Floored By A Poor Job

After the all the drama we had with the flooring a couple of weeks ago we popped up to the house today to see how it looked and found that it looked shit!

Not the style of the flooring mind, I like the style and colour, it was the way it had been laid!

It had been put down so badly that at every short edge the two edges were pushing up against each other giving the floor a rippling effect. And it wasn’t just a couple of occurrences either, it was about 80% of it. Catching it with the right light angle it looked absolutely terrible. And considering all the issues we’d had, being told that this stuff was better than laminate flooring, there was no way that it would do.

Even the site manager agreed that it looked bad and said he’d get the flooring guy to take a look at it.

So this is something else to add to our ever growing list of “things that have fucked up” with the house. We’ll be so glad to get into this house and all these cock ups are long distant memories!
