Adhoc Party for PSP

Today sees the release of Adhoc Party for the Playstation. It’s an online service that allows you to connect your PSP with other PSP owners via the PSN on your PS3. Confused?

Adhoc games traditionally allowed you to play against someone else but you had to be in close proximity to them to play against them. This new application (well, new to the UK, Japan has had it for about 9 months!) does away with those limitations, as your PSP connects to the PS3 via Wi-Fi, allowing you to chat online with fellow gamers in the SCEE region before jumping into competition from the comforts of each of your respective living rooms. How clever is that?

Yeah, I don’t get how it works! In fact I still think there’s little imps inside my PS3! But I’ll be downloading this tomorrow to test out Gran Turismo with some other gamers from OnR. I will lose! Check out the video below or click here for more information…
