Miles Jupp

Last night I had to miss out on some football as The Wife and I had tickets to see Miles Jupp do his comedic thing on the stage at the Lyric Theatre in his latest show “Miles Jupp Is The Chap You’re Thinking Of”.

I’ve seen him on the News Quiz when we’ve been to see that recorded and I’ve always enjoyed his ‘stuff’ but this was the first time I’ve seen him live.

Miles has a very dry delivery and combined with his middle class-ness makes for a very funny time as he goes off on a mild rant on subjects that would normally not get a laugh, playing on his middle-class-radio-4-and-archers-listening persona.

It was a funny night out, so missing the football wasn’t a bad thing!
