B Is For Belgo

Last night was the second of our Alphabet Dinner Club gatherings and the venue chosen for B was Belgo Centraal in Covent Garden.

Unfortunately there were only three of us in attendance as other people couldn’t make it for various reasons, but we still had a good meal and catch up.

Belgo is a Belgian restaurant that specialises in mussels (Mussels from Brussels anyone?) but not being a huge fan of them, I opted for just a burger and fries. It was nothing majorly different to the many premium burger joints like GBK or Byron but it was OK.

We then opted for dessert which is unusual for us as they had a passion fruit cheesecake that was just crying out to be eaten. And boy was it delicious!

It was a nice night out but hopefully next month will have a few more people in attendance. Where to go for ‘C’?
