Nearly Time To Come Home

Tonight’s our last night at the Lamaya as we’re heading home tomorrow afternoon. We’ve had a good time while we’ve been here, done some scuba diving, snorkelling, been pampered in the spa and ventured out into the desert. For what was supposed to have been a relaxing holiday, we’ve done quite a bit.

Getting to snorkel and then scuba dive with some turtles has probably been the highlight of our trip, it’s just a shame we didn’t have a camera with us to capture these graceful animals.

The excursion into the desert was a let down, considering one we’d been on before was much, much better. I wouldn’t recommend doing it unless they make some changes.

The staff at the resort have been absolutely wonderful and have made our stay here quite memorable. As have all the ‘boys’ at Coraya Divers, making our dives effortless.

Not really looking forward to the flight home, another five and a half hours with no entertainment and food & drink you have to pay through the nose for!

So we’ve got one more night of relaxing at the bar, sitting in our favourite seats listening to the resident singer ahead of us. One last chance to encourage everyone else to clap him (everyone else is SO rude, haha!). My money’s on him singing the “diggi diggi” song and maybe a German one as well.

So here’s to another wonderful holiday! So glad I’ve got 4 days off when we get back as well!
