Freaky Eyes & Twitchy Fingers

Our last full day at the Puri Santrian so we thought we really should go into the sea so had a few dips and got out our frisbee and ball. Well it wouldn’t be a holiday without them! There were lots of starfish in the water so we had to be careful not to tread on them.

In the evening we headed out again for dinner and finally decided, after checking out lots of menus of restaurants up the road to eat at Poan. We were entertained by two traditional Lagong dancers while tucking into more nasi goreng and crispy duck. The Lagong dance includes lots of twitchy fingers and freaky eye movements. It’s a bit scary at times but it was a lovely way to end the first part of our stay in Bali.
