Bringing Out The Big Guns

We’re looking to buy a new car in the next few months and having done a hell of a lot of research over the last year, narrowed the field down to a couple of possibles and done initial test drives in them I phoned up one dealer to book in a test drive appointment for the weekend.

On the call I made the mistake of telling the sales guy that they were down to the final two and that we’d be looking to make a decision relatively quickly. After taking the usual information, the salesman booked in the appointment and we hung up.

About 3 minutes later I get a call back asking if we could bring the test drive forward by half an hour and that it would be someone different taking us out, their Senior Sales consultant.

So it looks like their bringing out the top guy to try and close us. Should be interesting…
