OlliOlli2 Released. Time To Get Addicted Again
Last year I picked up a cracking little game for my Vita called OlliOlli. It was a quick-paced, side-scrolling, gem of a game that had that “just one more try” addiction. I spent hours and hours playing it on my commute to work for around two straight months, and on more than one occasion, nearly missed my stop as I was so engrossed in it.
The game is simple in its premise, combine skateboard tricks to get to the end of the level. That’s it. But the gameplay is a lot more trickier than that suggests. There are loads of tricks to perform, and your aim is to combo them all together while completing other objectives, like collect all the flags, or hit specific out-of-the-way points to register the highest possible score.
It was one of my favourite games from last year, and now they have announced that the sequel, OlliOlli2: Welcome To Olliwood, is coming out today. And what’s even better is that it is going to be one of the free games available on PS+ for March!
That means I can while away many, many more hours on the train trying to combo a whole new set of levels and it won’t cost me a penny! I just need to make sure I don’t miss my station!
