Pinball Wizard

With a lack of PS4 time at the moment, I’m having to resort to my Vita for my gaming fix. On Old&Rubbish, the gaming forum that I frequent, there is an ongoing weekly competition with players attempting their best scores on various tables in Zen Pinball 2, and so it is this game that is getting all my attention at the moment.

The basic premise of the competition is this. One person (the winner from the previous week) chooses a table to play. Everyone has until Tuesday night to get their highest score on that table. The winner is the person, as you might guess, with the highest score. Another table is chosen, and so on, and so on.

I tend to play the game on a Monday and Tuesday on my way in to work, so I get a good couple of hours of gaming time to try and get my best score. This is probably more than the other players and is most likely the reason why I tend to come first or second each week. Everyone else is just busy with Destiny!

There are lots of tables available to download, and you only pay for the ones you want to play. The best ones are the licensed Marvel comic tables. Decent sound effects, good mini games and they look great as well!

At the moment we are having a go at the Plants v Zombies table and it’s proving to be a bit of a bugger. Not having played the original iPad game, I haven’t got a clue what I’m doing so I reckon it will be a second place this week unless I pull something out of the bag.
